New design
A major difference in the design of the MI Air Purifier 4 Pro compared to the older models is that the top grille above the diffuser fan can be opened, allowing cleaning of the entire air duct up to the filter.
The control buttons are now located on the touch screen itself.

Ionization
A new function in the fourth generation purifiers is air ionization with negative ions. This feature can be turned on through the Mi Home app.

Features
Through 360-degree suction from all sides, the air passes through the filter and then exits through the top of the unit.
The device works with different operating modes that can be changed at will. Automatic mode determines the fan speed depending on the air pollution.

Area
Mi Air Purifier 4 Pro is most effective on an area between 35m2 to 60m2  (Calculations are made when the product is placed in the center of the room. If placed at the edge, effective coverage drops by up to 30% unless turbo mode is used.)

Filters
Mi Air Purifier 4 and Mi Air Purifier 4 Pro are not compatible with previous first, second and third generation purifier filters. The new filters for these models have added active carbon in their innermost part, thanks to which extremely strong and harmful odors such as formaldehyde and others are neutralized. The new filters also have a better antibacterial and antiviral coating that neutralizes and stops the spread of many known viruses and bacteria.

Management
The Mi Air Purifier 4 Pro works through the Mi Home app, where they can be included in various automations and smart home scenarios. They can be controlled via OK Google and Amazon Alexa.
